Justification by Faith

What was so important about the reformation and what does it have to do with Genesis 15? It is here that we see the seed that germinate and would become known as justification by faith. The bedrock from which every blessing of the gospel springs, and doctrine by which the church stands or falls, the doctrine without which we would cease to preach the true gospel. Lifting Up Our Eyes

One representing the kingdom of this world, the epitome of human strength and ambition, the other representing the kingdom of heaven. Second Chance

Genesis 9 marks a turning point in humanity’s story—freedom expands, but boundaries remain. After the flood, God grants Noah and his descendants greater liberty, including the right to eat animals. Yet this freedom comes with new divine guidelines: respect for life, accountability for bloodshed, and the sanctity of life, the covenant marked by the rainbow. Though the earth is renewed, sin still lingers in human hearts.
