Why Did God Create the World?

For what reason did God decide to create? Was he bored? Did he need someone to love or to love him? God had some ultimate purpose, some reason for which he decided to create all things, and this week as we look at Genesis 1-2. We will look at the biblical witness of God's reason for creating, for in it we perceive the reason for which he created us.
