The Stubborn Prophet and the Compassionate God

Jonah is a most interesting character, a prophet of God, meant to be faithful and obedient to the command of God is instead rebellious and stubborn. He is deserving of nothing but God's judgement and yet he rather encounters the God of endless compassion. This a story of God's rebellious people and his unending mercy and grace towards them.
