Choosing Now Over Forever

This sermon shows how Esau, Isaac, and even Adam and Eve chose immediate pleasure over God’s lasting promises. “Esau sold his birthright for some stew.” We often do the same, trading eternal joy for momentary comfort. But God calls us to trust Him, as Isaac did when he stayed in the land and was blessed a hundredfold. Christ holds our inheritance secure, enabling us to resist temporary temptations and pursue lasting joy.
